The makers have booked two release dates for the film. The film will release on one date only.

But due to the situation in theaters in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the makers are also carrying out a backup plan, under which the second release date has been blocked.

This is the first time a producer has officially announced two release dates. But, both these dates are not safe, because Hindi films with big star cast are also being released on both.

In a statement issued by the producer company DVI, it has been said – If the situation of the pandemic improves in the country all the theaters across the country open at full capacity.

Then we are fully prepared to release the film on March 18. Otherwise, the film will hit the theaters on April 28.

It is clear from the statement that the date of March 18 is not permanent. It is conditional.

If cinema halls continue to run at 50 percent capacity or remain partially closed, the film may not release on March 18.

However, after this statement, the stand of the picture regarding RRR has become quite clear. Let us inform you here that the film was earlier scheduled to hit the theaters on January 7.

But due to the pandemic, the release was postponed due to the closure of theaters in some states or to operate with 50 percent capacity.

RRR is a mega-budget film, which is going to have a massive release across the country. Originally made in Telugu, the film will be released in Hindi along with Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

There were also talks of releasing it in some languages ​​internationally. In such a situation, the film needs a complete release in theatres.

RRR is a period film, the story of which is set during the British rule. Ram Charan and NTR Jr are in lead roles, while Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt will also be seen in pivotal roles.

Both the dates are not reserved for RRR.

If RRR releases on March 18 on the occasion of Holi, then it will have to clash with Akshay Kumar’s film Bachchan Pandey. Recently, Akshay had announced the release date of the film.

Bachchan Pandey is also a big release and this will be Akshay’s next film after Sooryavanshi. In the Hindi belt, Bachchan Pandey will prove to be a big challenge for RRR.

If RRR releases in theaters on April 28, the film will clash with Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34 and Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti 2. Both these films are scheduled to release on April 29.
