Reaching very close to 100 crores in 6 days, the film could not impress even big releases like Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.

Because huge crowds of people have thronged the theaters to watch The Kashmir Files.

If this pace of earnings of The Kashmir File continues for the second week, then this film can also break the record of ‘Jai Santoshi Maa’ which earned twenty times its cost in the year 1975 at the box office.

On the 6th day of its release, ‘The Kashmir Files’, the film reportedly earned Rs 19.30 crore. Now the total box office collection of this film is Rs 79.50 crores.

The Kashmir Files, which was released on March 11, is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus during the 1990 Kashmir insurgency.

The film stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi in lead roles.

‘The Kashmir Files’ earns Rs 18 crore at Worldwide Box Office on Day 5. And on the sixth day, it showed tremendous growth.

The film reportedly earned Rs 19.30 crore on its sixth day, taking the total worldwide box office collection to around Rs 79.50 crore.

The second-week collection of Vivek Agnihotri’s film is expected to be more than the film’s earnings this week.

Seeing the pace of the film, it seems that it will soon enter the club of Rs 100 crore. All eyes are now on the Holi holiday and the second weekend after the release.

It will also be interesting to see the Anupam Kher-starrer compete with Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey, which releases on March 18.
