The Hollywood film 2015 is an adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ novel by the same name. The film is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. Ribhu has also directed a series called Bard of Blood for Netflix, in which Emraan Hashmi played the lead role. The series was produced by Shah Rukh Khan.

The story of The Girl on the Train revolves around a girl Meera, who sees a family leading a happy life while traveling by train daily. Then one day it looks like his own life changes.

Apart from the film Parineeti, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari and Avinash Tiwari will be seen in important roles. The Girl on the Train was scheduled to be released in May last year, but was postponed due to panademic.
