The gap between Hong Kong and China is constantly widening.

Now the entire Chinaopposition has decided to resign from the Legislative Council in protest against the Hong Kong government’s disqualification of the four supporters here.

This was announced in a press conference by all 15 democracy-supported legislators present in the Legislative Council.

Giving information about this, Wu Chi-wai said that the Central Government has done a very cheap trick to suppress the voice of his colleagues.

Under this, their members have been disqualified, which cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.

He also said that many problems can be raised further in the coming days before the supporters of democracy. Despite this, he will never back down from his demand and will keep raising his voice like this.

According to Wu, all legislators supporting democracy will resign today.

In addition to Wu, another MP Claudia Mo said that behind all this is the Communist government of China who wants to suppress the voice of Hong Kong.

She has been working on this for years. He also said that the Chinese government is trying to strangle democracy in Hong Kong.

The disqualified legislators are alleged to have sought assistance from abroad to disrupt Hong Kong. Let me tell you that there are a total of 70 seats in the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.

After the simultaneous resignation of these legislators, only the pro-China legislators will remain in the Legislative Council.

They already have a majority in the Legislative Council.

Even after this, they will have difficulty in passing any law because the reason is that no China-backed legislation in the Legislative Council can be passed without debate.

For this, the presence of the opposition is necessary.

A disqualified MLA, Kwok Ka-ki, described the Hong Kong government’s decision as a violation of his rights. Key says that the Hong Kong government’s decision violates Hong Kong’s mini constitution, called Basic Law.

Following his statement, Hong Kong Administrator and China-backed Kerry Lam told reporters that inept legislators should behave in a manner. Hong Kong needs legislators who are devout.

China’s communist government is constantly adopting all possible methods to suppress the voices of supporters of democracy in Hong Kong.

In June this year, China enacted the National Security Act in Hong Kong, which was fiercely opposed. Other countries also called it the dictatorship of China.

Earlier last year, there were months of intense protests in Hong Kong over a bill. There was a shortage after the lockdown caused by Covid-19.

Even after this, the fire of the supporters of democracy in Hong Kong has been continuously burning.

In protest of this decision, many countries have ended their extradition treaties from Hong Kong.

The US has even banned Hong Kong administrator Carrie Lam and some people in her government from entry into the US.

However, China expressed strong displeasure over this decision of the US and took similar action in return.

On behalf of China, it was said that Hong Kong is a part of it, so in any case, no other country has any right to speak. To do so would be to intervene in China’s private affairs.
