The Speaker of the 140-member Assembly will be elected on 25 May. The ruling Left Democratic Front has announced the name of Tritala MLA MB Rajesh for the post.
Governor Arif Muhammad Khan will deliver the customary address to 28 and the Finance Minister will keep the revised budget for 21-22. On June 4, he will present the accounting grant.
