The First Session Of Kerala Legislative Assembly Started

The first session of the Kerala Legislative Assembly started with Governor’s address. Governor spoke on increasing the income of farmers, production of vegetables.

The first session of the Kerala Legislative Assembly is going on in the capital Thiruvananthapuram.

Addressing the session, Governor Arif Khan was the first to give a statement on increasing the income of farmers and the production of vegetables.

Confirmed to increase farmers’ income by 50 percent in next five years.

Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said, ‘My government is committed to increasing the income of farmers by 50 percent in the next 5 years.

For this purpose, value addition will be strengthened by setting up agricultural parks, including agro-processing and new small-scale food processing industries.

Governor said on increasing production of vegetables.

Along with this, the Governor said that the production of vegetables in Kerala will be increased in the next five years. Attention will also be paid to achieve self-sufficiency in the region.

Let us know that the first session of the 15th assembly was started on Monday, three days after the formation of the government headed by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

The Corona Protocol was taken care of during this time. The legislators who reached the assembly were sworn in after winning the election for the first time.

On the first day of the session, Protem Speaker P. Rahim administered the oath to the new MLAs. At the same time, it is believed that a joint resolution should be passed by the Kerala Legislative Assembly, showing solidarity towards the people of Lakshadweep.
