The Farmers Will Now Talk To Government On December 30

The farmers will now talk on December 30, after the five-step meeting, there are great expectations from this meeting.

Farmers’ organizations, adamant on the demand to repeal the agrarian reform laws, agreed to hold the next round of government talks on December 30, but there is no softening in the demand.

Along with this, the guarantee of MSP, non-penalty on stubble burning, and change in power ordinance is also included.

It is difficult to say how successful the negotiations will be in such a situation, but the positive aspect is that after 25 days, the face of talks has been formed again.

Leaders of 40 organizations have been sent to participate in the talks on behalf of the government. Earlier, the Kisan Morcha sent a proposal to come to talks on 29 December with some of its issues.

Agriculture Secretary Sanjay Aggarwal has said in his letter to have a detailed discussion on the issues raised by farmers’ organizations.

Aggarwal has said that the government is committed to the rational resolution of rational issues with a clear and open mind.

It is expected to reach positive results. The talks at Vigyan Bhawan in the capital Delhi will begin on December 30 at 2 pm.

Prior to this, the last dialogue was held here on December 5, in which there was a deadlock in the negotiations due to the rigid stand of farmers’ organizations.

Talk about participating with a clear and open mind and clear intentions

Farmer leaders, during this entire dialogue, started demanding answers from the government in ‘yes or no’.

They insisted that the government cancel the new agricultural laws and answer yes or no to the legal guarantee of the minimum support price (MSP).

Farmer representatives did not even agree to discuss these issues. The latest dialogue proposal calls for the government to participate with a clear and open mind and clear intent.

MSP will also be discussed

The Kisan Morcha had given similar hints in its proposal last time too. Citing the previous letter of the Kisan Morcha in the government’s proposal.

It has been said that the purchase arrangements for the three laws and the minimum support price (MSP) will be discussed in the context of your sent statement.

Along with this, detailed discussions will be held on issues related to farmers in the Ordinance-2020 and Electricity Amendment Bill-2020 issued for air quality management of NCR and surrounding areas.

Amit Shah had informal talks with farmers

On December 30, the Union Ministerial Committee on behalf of the government will hold talks to resolve these issues. There have been five rounds of talks between the two sides so far.

After this, Home Minister Amit Shah held informal talks with the farmer leaders before the proposed meeting on December 9 for the sixth phase.

On his suggestion, the next day the government sent a list of issues that were identified in the previous negotiations to the farmers’ organizations.

But the farmer’s organizations rejected the proposal and announced to intensify the movement.

On 26 December, Kisan Morcha sent a letter to the government asking for the date of talks to be fixed for 29 December, which the government has reduced to 30 December.

On this day, Kisan Morcha has announced a tractor march from Sighu Border and Tikari Border to Kundli-Manesar-Palwal.

Through agricultural reforms, the government has passed new laws to increase the income of farmers.

While some farmers organizations are taking the path of the movement in protest against it, some farmers organizations have threatened to start the movement in its favor.

He is constantly speaking to Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar and making his point.

The government is considering the anti-law movement as the cause of opposition parties. It is alleged that opposition political parties are misleading farmers to run their agenda.

The wall of lies will fall soon

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said in a ceremony on Monday that against the new laws, a wall of lies has been erected among the farmers in a planned manner.

This will not last long. The protesting farmers will soon realize the truth and the wall of lies will fall soon.

He said that the new laws of agrarian reform have been brought into consideration with a better future for agriculture. These laws will prove beneficial for the poor and small and marginal farmers.
