‘Thalaivii’ Box Office Collection Day 1: Rs 1.25 Crores

‘Thalaivii’ box office collection day 1: ‘Thalaivi’ started off slow, earned only so many crores on the first day.

Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Thalaivii’ was released this Friday. The film is based on a biography based on the life of late Indian actress-turned-politician J Jayalalithaa, the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

There were many speculations about the film’s earnings earlier. But now the data of its first day’s total earnings have come out, seeing that it can be said that Kangana will not be happy with it.

Best Business Received in Tamil Nadu According to Box Office India figures Thalaivi collected Rs 1.25 crores across India.

The film performed better in the South Indian markets as compared to the Hindi circuit. The film earned 20 to 25 lakhs in the Hindi center, with Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat contributing the most.

Thalaivi performed best in Tamil Nadu, where it collected 80 lakhs box office on the very first day. The film did not do well in Andhra Pradesh as the local film ‘Citimar’ has captured the market.

Movie not released in Maharashtra.

Thalaivi, like the recently released Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings, Fast and Furious 9, Chehre and Bellbottom, was not released in Maharashtra as the state government reopened cinema halls since the second Covid-19 wave. Not there.

Thalaivi lags behind these Hollywood films.

Akshay Kumar’s Bellbottom became the first major Bollywood film to release after the theaters opened. According to Box Office India, the film collected 2.5-2.75 crores.

At the same time, Fast and Furious 9 collected 1.75 crores. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh told that Marvel’s Shang-Chi had earned 3.25 crores on the first day.

Kangana made this appeal.

Although Hollywood films have done well in India, Kangana said that it should not promote American and English films in India.

“We don’t need to promote American and English films because they are occupying our screens. We need to behave like a nation.

We have to stop dividing ourselves like North India or South India. We need to enjoy our own films first, be it Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, or Punjabi.
