Vigilant BSF jawans have foiled the plans of the terrorists who were trying to disturb the peace during Independence Day.

On the basis of solid information, BSF personnel along with RR of Army and SOG of Poonch conducted a search operation in the forests of Sangad village of Mankot tehsil.

During this, the hideout of the terrorists was destroyed from there. The security forces have recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition from the terrorist hideout.

On Monday morning, BSF personnel carried out a joint search operation with Army’s RR and Poonch Police’s SOG.

During the search operation in the forests of village Sangad of Tehsil Mankot, the security forces came to know about the hideout of the terrorists.

When it was searched, a large quantity of ammunition was recovered from there.

These include two AK-47 rifles, four AK-47 magazines, one China-made pistol, 10 pistol magazines, AI work sets, 4 Chinese grenades, four detonators, 9 electric detonators, 15 fuse detonators, 689 mm weapons.

Two mobile phones, 12 battery mobile chargers, two batteries, and other incriminating material have been recovered.
