A few years ago, the government had announced the Prime Minister’s employment package to give relief to Kashmiri displaced Hindus.

Under this, provision was kept for six thousand jobs. Out of this, four thousand posts were filled. These employees were deployed in the valley.

No order of leave to government employees.

No special leave has been given to minority government employees posted in the Valley amid the situation arising out of the killing of innocent people in Kashmir.

The government on Sunday clarified that no order has been issued to give special leave to the employees.

The news circulating on the internet media is baseless and misleading. There were reports of employees being given 10 days’ leave on the internet media.

Recently, after the killings in Kashmir, a large number of government employees belonging to the minority community are in fear. Some employees have even reached Jammu.

The Kashmir Sikh Sangat has said that the employees should not go to the job unless the government guarantees security to the employees.
