Telecom Minister Said – 5G Will Be Launched In Early October

Telecom Minister said – 5G will be launched in early October this year; Service will be cheaper than in other countries of the world: 5G in India.

Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that the 5G service will be launched in the country in early October this year.

He said that mobile phones capable of providing 5G service are currently available in the market for up to Rs 15,000 and soon such phones will be available in the market for up to Rs 10,000.

He has spoken to mobile phone manufacturers in this regard.

Vaishnav said that the 5G service in India will be much cheaper than in other countries of the world as the cost of data is already very low in our country.

The average monthly cost of mobile internet in the world for common consumers is Rs 2500, while in India it is done for less than Rs 200.

Vaishnav said that the market will decide the pricing of the 5G service, but it is necessary that the price of the 5G service will not be such that people face problems.

He said that the 5G spectrum auction is going on and the spectrum will be allotted to the companies as soon as the auction is over.

However, after spectrum allocation, it takes a few months for companies to install equipment.

But talks have already been held with telecom service providers in this regard, so 5G service is expected to start in early October.

5G trial is going on in these cities of the country.

5G trials are already going on in four places in the country. These include Bhopal City, Bangalore Metro, Kandla Port, and Delhi Airport.

This trial will go a long way in preparing 5G infrastructure in advance. In this regard, TRAI has also submitted a report to the Department of Telecom.

BSNL will also start the 5G service.

Vaishnav said that even after the introduction of the 5G service, the importance of 4G will remain. In countries where 5G has been started, 4G service is still fully running.

However, after the launch of 5G in India, the scope of 5G will grow rapidly as this service is being launched with full preparation.

He told that BSNL will also start 5G service, but before that BSNL will start fully 4G service.

Vaishnav said that in the next two-three years, like electronics items, India will also become a big manufacturer of telecom equipment.
