Parliament on Thursday endorsed the Telecom Bill, 2023, which was brought to make another regulation by revoking the 138-year-old Message Act in the country.

In this bill, there is an arrangement of three years in prison and a fine of up to Rs 50 lakh for buying a phony SIM.

Regulation will be made after the President’s mark.

After the President signs this charge, it will become regulation.

Answering the conversation on the bill, Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that India’s telecom area was in a truly challenging stage yet in the last nine and a half years it has been delivered once again from there.
