BJP MLA T Raja Singh has been arrested in Telangana (Telangana BJP) for making objectionable remarks on Prophet Mohammad. He is accused of hurting religious sentiments.

A case was registered against the BJP MLA after protests in Hyderabad on Monday night after releasing a video talking about the Prophet.

The protest took place in front of the office of city police commissioner CV Anand and other parts of the city. In fact, recently T Raja Singh made a controversial comment by releasing a video.

According to a report in the leading newspaper, the protesters had said that Singh had hurt religious sentiments and that he should be arrested immediately.

Actually, T Raja had recently uploaded a video, in which he commented on Prophet Mohammad.

In a 10.27-minute video, ‘Listen to Farooqui’s Aaka Ka Itihaye’, shared via Shri Ram channel Telangana late Monday night, Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh can be seen speaking on stand-up comedian Munawwar Farooqui and his comedy show.

Without taking names, Singh reiterates the comments made by former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. After this, his video went viral.

It is known that on Monday night, Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AMIM) along with his supporters reached the Dabirpura police station and demanded strict action against Singh.
