In 2018, the dead bodies of 11 people of the same family were found hanging from the noose in Sant Nagar in the Burari area of ​​Delhi.

This case, which seemed like a mass suicide, had shocked the whole of Delhi.

On this unresolved case, filmmaker Leena Yadav has made a documentary series House of Secrets – The Burari Deaths, which is releasing on Netflix on 8 October.

The platform released its teaser on Frida. Various aspects related to this case have been shown in the teaser.

An attempt has been made to understand this shocking case based on the conversation of the journalist covering the case, the investigating police officer, neighbors, and experts.

This case is still unsolved and many questions related to it are still unanswered.

On the morning of July 1, 2018, there was sensational news of 11 people of the same family committing suicide in the Sant Nagar area of ​​Burari. The suicide victims included 7 women and 4 men.

Among them were 2 minors along with a 78-year-old woman. When the police reached inside the house, the bodies of all 10 people were found hanging from the grill.

The body of an elderly woman was found lying on the ground. Most of the people who committed suicide were found with sardines tied around their necks.

Police investigation revealed that all 11 members of the family were unknowingly or unknowingly involved in this suicide.

When the investigation progressed, superstition was believed to be the reason behind it. The hands and feet of 9 people were tied. His mouth and eyes were blindfolded, which deepened the mystery.

Some diaries were recovered from the house, in which the process of committing suicide was named ‘Kriya’. The psychological aspect of this incident has also been discussed in the documentary.
