TDP MLAs Suspended from Andhra Assembly

TDP MLAs suspended from Andhra Assembly for committing uproar and sloganeering.

Ten Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLAs were suspended on Friday after sloganeering and uproar in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

The legislators created a ruckus demanding the approval of the NREGA bills for 2018-19.

The Andhra Pradesh assembly session began with a discussion on the development of the dairy sector and partnership with Amul.

After this, the opposition legislators started an uproar in the House. He shouted slogans demanding approval of NREGA bills for 2018-19. The speaker adjourned the house for 15 minutes.

The uproar continued even after the house began to function. The TDP MP tried to get close to the speaker’s podium.

He stood on the chair and kept shouting slogans. Subsequently, Information and Public Relations Minister Perni Venkataramiah proposed the suspension of TDP MLAs.

Speaker Taminamani Sitaram suspended 10 TDP MLAs. The names of these MLAs are Kinjarapu Atchandu, Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu, Dola Bala Veeranjaney Swamy.

Bendalam, Ashok, Nimmi Ramanayudu, Yeluri Sambasiva Rao, Mantena Ramaraju, Anjani Satyaprataprada, V Jogeshwar Rao, and Gorantla Buchia Chowdhury.

TDP MLAs have been suspended for the fifth consecutive day.

Along with the suspended MLAs, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and other MLAs walked out of the House. After that the proceedings of the House continued.

Meanwhile, TDP MLC moved the adjournment motion in the Legislative Council to discuss the Amravati capital issue. Council President MA Sharif rejected the proposal.

TDP MLC created an uproar in the House. Minister Botas Satyanarayana asked why the opposition party did not put Amravati’s point in the BAC.

He said that the ruling party is not afraid, he is ready to discuss the Amravati issue. But the TDP is pretending to gain political advantage.

The ruling party is ready to discuss all the issues decided in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC).
