Taiwan Condemns Chinese Military Drills, Deploys Forces as US Warns Against Escalation

Taiwan Condemns Chinese Military Drills: Taiwan has strongly condemned a fresh wave of Chinese military drills conducted near the island, deploying defensive forces as tensions rise sharply across the Taiwan Strait—a region Washington considers critical to global security and trade.

According to Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense, China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) carried out large-scale naval and air exercises close to Taiwan’s territorial waters and airspace. The drills reportedly included fighter jet patrols, warship movements, and simulated combat operations, prompting Taiwan to place its armed forces on high alert.

https://digitalamitkaul.online/middle-east-protests-deadly-religious-site-attack/

Taiwanese officials described the exercises as “reckless provocation” and warned that Beijing’s actions threaten peace not only in East Asia but also in the wider Indo-Pacific—a region central to US strategic and economic interests.

Taiwan Condemns Chinese Military Drills: Taiwan Activates Defensive Response

Taiwan confirmed that its air defense systems, naval patrols, and surveillance units were immediately deployed to track Chinese movements. Military officials said the island’s forces remain “fully prepared” to defend national security while avoiding unnecessary escalation.

Taiwan’s defense ministry stated in a statement that “China’s persistent military intimidation threatens regional security and breaches international principles.”Officials stressed that while Taiwan seeks peace, it will not yield to coercion or threats.

China Defends Drills as ‘Routine’

Beijing defended the exercises, calling them routine military activities designed to safeguard what it claims as national sovereignty. China considers Taiwan part of its territory and has repeatedly vowed to prevent any move toward formal independence.

Chinese authorities accused “external forces”—a reference often aimed at the United States—of encouraging separatism in Taiwan. The drills, Beijing said, were intended to send a “clear warning.”

Taiwan Condemns Chinese Military Drills: US and Allies Closely Monitoring

The latest developments have drawn close attention from Washington, where US officials reiterated concerns about rising military pressure from China. The United States has long emphasized that peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait are vital to global security and commerce.

While the US does not officially recognize Taiwan as a sovereign state, it remains its most important international supporter and arms supplier under the Taiwan Relations Act. American naval forces routinely operate in the region, signaling Washington’s commitment to a “free and open Indo-Pacific.”

Security analysts say the increased frequency of Chinese drills raises the risk of miscalculation—something US defense officials have repeatedly warned against.

“The danger isn’t just war—it’s an accident,” said a former US defense official. “When warships and fighter planes are operating this close together, one mistake could be disastrous.”

Why Taiwan Matters to the US

Taiwan plays a crucial role in global supply chains, particularly in semiconductor manufacturing. Any disruption in the Taiwan Strait could severely impact US technology industries, financial markets, and global trade.

Beyond economics, Taiwan has become a central flashpoint in US-China relations, symbolizing broader competition over influence, security, and democratic values in the 21st century.

Taiwan Condemns Chinese Military Drills: What Comes Next

Despite rising tensions, most experts believe both Beijing and Washington want to avoid direct conflict. However, continued military posturing suggests the situation will remain volatile.

Taiwan has called for dialogue and restraint, while reaffirming its commitment to democratic governance and self-defense. China, meanwhile, shows no sign of easing pressure, keeping the region—and US policymakers—on edge.

https://aamnewsnetwork.com/jordan-airstrikes-drug-smuggling-southern-syria/

As Chinese military activity around Taiwan intensifies, the Taiwan Strait remains one of the world’s most dangerous geopolitical hotspots—one with direct implications for American security, global markets, and international stability.

China Escalates Tensions Around Taiwan: 10 Ships and 2 Military Aircraft Detected.

China Escalates Tensions: Tensions rise as China deploys 10 ships and 2 military aircraft near Taiwan. Discover the latest developments and how Taiwan responds to this growing threat.

China is hovering around Taiwan, 10 ships and 2 military aircraft were detected.

China is not giving up its habits. Chinese aircraft and ships have once again been detected around Taiwan.

According to Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense, six Chinese naval ships, four coast guard ships, and two military aircraft have been detected around the country between 6 am Saturday and 6 am Sunday.

China Escalates Tensions: Violated the Strait midline.

According to the MND, two PLA aircraft violated the Taiwan Strait midline of the country’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) in the northern region.

Taiwan retaliated by monitoring PLA activity with aircraft, naval ships, and coastal-based missile systems.

Let us tell you that China has been using the gray zone strategy more frequently since September 2020.

At the same time, the number of military aircraft and naval ships is gradually increasing in the vicinity of Taiwan.

https://aamnewsnetwork.com/iranian-border-guards-open-fire-on-pakistani-vehicle-4-dead-2-injured-near-mashkel-balochistan/

Tension between China and Taiwan.

This is the height of the tension between Taiwan and China. Despite never ruling Taiwan, China’s ruling Communist Party considers it part of its territory and has threatened to conquer it by force if necessary.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry was vehemently against US congressmen’s recent travel to Taiwan on May 27.

Amid the visit of US lawmakers to Taiwan, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said that Beijing firmly opposes military contact between the US and Taiwan as well as any attempt to arm Taiwan.

US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin lashed out at China on the Taiwan issue, saying – talks are necessary to end the dispute.

US Defense Minister Attack China-US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin criticized China on Saturday for refusing to negotiate with the armies on the issue of border disputes in Taiwan and the South China Sea.

He said that dialogue is necessary to end the dispute. He was addressing the Shangri La Dialogue, a security conference in Asia.

China made this allegation about America.

The talks between the two countries have been stalled ever since US Secretary of State Antony Blinken canceled his visit to China.

A senior Chinese official said the US is responsible for stalling the talks, which has imposed sanctions on Chinese officials and affected the stability of the Asia Pacific region with military presence.

Relations between the US and China are at a decade low. He seems to be divided on many issues. Whether it is a matter of Taiwan’s sovereignty, espionage, or a border dispute in the South China Sea.

America replied.

Austin said that dialogue between leaders related to the defense and military sector of the US and China is necessary to resolve the dispute and stability in the Asia Pacific region.

The more we talk, the more misunderstandings will be removed.

Significantly, China’s Defense Minister Li Shangfu on Friday turned down Austin’s proposal for separate talks at the conference. However, both shook hands with each other.

Russia has put a condition in front of the US to return to the nuclear treaty and understand what is New START Treaty.

In the midst of the Russia-Ukraine war, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Russia is considering restarting the New START treaty with the US.

However, Russia has placed a condition in front of America for this treaty. Russia said that if America gives up its hostile attitude towards Russia, then Russia can consider adopting this treaty.

America threatens Russia not to give information about weapons.

Let us tell you that a few weeks ago the US informed that it would stop providing Russia with certain information required under the Arms Control Treaty, including updates on its missile and launcher locations.

Actually, America says that Russia turned away from the agreement between the two countries, due to which America has taken this decision.

America should give up its fundamentally hostile attitude towards Russia: Russia.

Ryabkov further said that our (Russia) decision to postpone the New START treaty agreement is absolutely irrevocable.

However, the US wants Russia to return to the accord again if the US abandons its fundamentally hostile attitude towards Russia.

Taiwan tracks 8 Chinese military planes, 3 naval ships close to the border, and Dragon continuously infiltrating.

Taiwan has tracked 8 Chinese military planes, and 3 naval ships on its country’s border.

Taiwan sent aircraft, and naval ships and used ground-based missile tracking systems to monitor PLA aircraft and ships.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense (MND) is reported to have tracked eight Chinese military aircraft and three naval ships around Taiwan as of 5 pm on Sunday.

According to Taiwan’s Defense Ministry, one of the eight aircraft of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Sukhoi Su-30 fighter jet crossed the Taiwan Strait midline in the northeastern region of the country’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).

In response, Taiwan used fighter patrol aircraft, naval ships, and land-based missile tracking systems to monitor PLA aircraft and ships, in addition to issuing radio warnings.

Significantly, in October so far, Beijing sent 420 Chinese military aircraft and 100 naval ships around the border of Taiwan.

https://aamnewsnetwork.com/british-queen-camilla-narrowly-survived/

Taiwan tracks 8 Chinese military planes: Since September 2020, China has increased the use of gray zone tactics by regularly sending aircraft to ADIZ in Taiwan.

The gray zone strategy is seen as a series of repeated attempts to violate a country’s fixed border.

Its use is to try to achieve certain security objectives without the use of direct force and large-scale military power.

Significantly, China repeatedly claims that Taiwan is not a country, but it is a part of it.

Recently, in the conference of the Communist Party of China held every five years, it was once again reiterated that force can also be used to include Taiwan in China.

China: Strict Covid lockdown in Zhengzhou, China, Chinese workers running away from iPhone factory.

The corona epidemic in China is not taking its name to an end. Corona cases are increasing rapidly in many provinces.

At the same time, due to the imposition of the lockdown, people’s life has become disturbed.

Meanwhile, Chinese workers are fleeing the country’s largest iPhone plant.

Let us inform you that in view of the outbreak of Covid, China has announced strict Covid restrictions at the world’s largest iPhone plant in Zhengzhou.

US will give $ 1.1 billion in hi-tech radars and missiles to Taiwan, Preparations for retort to Dragon.

In view of Taiwan’s increasing tension with China, to strengthen its defense system, the US has announced to give $ 1.1 billion of modern weapons to Taiwan.

This new arms deal with Taiwan has been done in view of the major military exercises started by China after US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.

There are fears that China’s military exercises could be a trial run for future attacks.

The weapons sold to Taiwan include a deal worth $665 million for an early radar warning system capable of tracking fighter jets and missiles and $355 million for 60 advanced Harpoon missiles.

Due to this the incoming fighter planes and missiles can be detected much earlier. Whereas Harpoon missiles are capable of destroying any target.

The Pentagon said the US State Department has approved the sale of $1.1 billion in military equipment, including 60 anti-ship missiles and 100 air-to-air missiles, to Taiwan.

It is being said that this arms sale order shows strong support for Taiwan from the administration of President Joe Biden.

At present, Taiwan is facing heavy pressure from China. Which has never ruled out using the military to bring the democratically-ruled island under its control.

China continues to claim that Taiwan is part of it. While Taipei says that China has never ruled the island and has no right to claim it.

https://aamnewsnetwork.com/bomb-blast-in-the-mosque/

US will give $ 1.1 billion to Taiwan: The US will fail every move of China like this! Biden’s big plan with Pacific countries.

To end China’s rapidly growing influence in the island countries of the Pacific, the US has decided to organize a summit of the leaders of these countries in Washington later this month.

The White House said that President Joe Biden will host the September 28-29 meeting of the leaders of the Pacific island nations in Washington.

This is a new attempt by the US to cut the rapidly growing influence in the Pacific region of China.

According to a news agency, the White House said that this summit will be held with the island nations of the Pacific on climate change, response to the epidemic, economic recovery, maritime security, environmental protection, and furthering a free and open Indo-Pacific.

It will advance efforts towards broadening and deepening America’s cooperation on big issues like this.

An official of the Joe Biden administration told that the White House has invited 12 countries of the Pacific, including the Solomon Islands.

The Solomon Islands signed a security deal with China in April, raising Washington’s concerns about Beijing’s growing influence.

Taiwan refutes China’s claim of access to Penghu Island, saying – the video is exaggerated: China Vs Taiwan.

Tensions between China and Taiwan have escalated since US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan. Both the countries are getting embroiled in new controversies with each passing day.

On Monday, China said one of its planes had come very close to the island of Penghu, which is under Taiwan’s jurisdiction. Now Taiwan claims that China is lying.

Taiwan has accused China of tampering and exaggerating footage of the islands. Taiwan said the Chinese military published footage of the Penghu islands, where Taiwan has a major airport.

China claims to have entered Penghu Island.

Indeed, on Monday, the Eastern Theater Command of the People’s Liberation Army released a video of the Penghu Islands, taken by the closest Chinese Air Force aircraft.

China claimed that its planes had gone too close to Penghu Island.

Taiwan refutes China’s claim: Taiwan falsifies China’s claim.

But Taiwan rejected China’s claim. Taiwan Air Force’s Vice Chief of Staff for Operations, Tung Pei-lun, told reporters in Taipei that the video released by China was information warfare.

Taiwan said that China tried to show how close it had come to Penghu. While this is not true.

Taiwan released the map.

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry on Monday released a map giving updates on the activities of the Chinese Air Force around Taiwan and said that on the day China is claiming to have come close to Penghu Island, the closest planes to China there.

There were four J-16 fighters in the air. Chinese planes crossed the Taiwan Strait midline, an unofficial barrier between the two sides.

Taiwan said that the Chinese planes were close to the Chinese coast, not Penghu, as shown on the map.

China’s access to Penghu Island is a challenge.

Significantly, there are many small islands around Taiwan. Many of these are in the Gulf of Taiwan. The Matsu Islands and Kinmen Island are adjacent to the Chinese border.

While Penghu Island is close to the southwest coast of Taiwan, reaching where is a challenging task for China. Penghu is quite popular among tourists for its beaches, rocks and seafood

China preparing to end military exercises. No-go notice removed from Gulf of Taiwan.

China is preparing to end its biggest military exercise ever being conducted by besieging Taiwan today. According to reports, it has removed the no-go notice for the area.

In its military exercises, China has deployed fighter jets, warships, and ballistic missiles around Taiwan.

The analysts have described it as a rehearsal for the blockade and preparations for the final attack on Taiwan.

According to a report in The Guardian, China is preparing to end its military exercises on Sunday.

Although China has announced the start of a new military exercise lasting till August 15 in the Yellow Sea located in the middle of the Korean peninsula.

According to some unconfirmed reports, China has withdrawn its no-go notice for the area of military exercise.

According to regional military analysts, China’s naval and air transport warnings for military exercises around Taiwan have expired and China has not extended its military exercises as previously thought.

While terming China’s military exercise as “inflammatory” and “irresponsible”, the US said China is trying to “change the status quo” through its military exercises around Taiwan.

A White House spokesman has said these activities are a significant addition to China’s efforts to change the status quo.

The spokesman said that they also disagree with our long-standing goal of maintaining peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait, which the world has hoped for.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken accused China of taking irresponsible steps by closing all channels of dialogue with Washington.

In preparation to show the full threat of military might, will also do military exercises in Dragon, Bohai, and the Yellow Sea.

China has decided to show the full threat of its military might after the military exercises conducted by besieging Taiwan.

After the live-fire military drill ends today, the PLA will now conduct more military exercises.

Beijing has announced a month-long live-fire military exercise in the Bohai Sea and south of the Yellow Sea. Whereas today is the last day of large-scale live-fire military exercises around Taiwan.

According to a report in the South China Morning Post, the China Maritime Safety Administration has informed that military exercises will be conducted in the Bohai Sea from Monday to September 8 and in the southern parts of the Yellow Sea from Sunday to August 15.

During this time there is a ban on the entry of common ships on these seas.

China started besieging Taiwan from all sides, then live fire drills crumbled Air Service, Nancy’s visit provoked Dragon.

Infuriated by the visit of US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, China has started live-fire drills around Taiwan since Thursday.

China’s mouthpiece Global Times has given this information. The newspaper said that in view of the drill, Taiwan has sent hundreds of people to other places.

Due to this, the airline has also been affected. The newspaper quoted China Central TV as saying that early warning aircraft and DF-17 hypersonic missiles are also participating in this drill.

An announcement was made two days ago: Significantly, as soon as Nancy left Taiwan, China announced to conduct a live-fire drill.

Under this, shells and missiles are being fired continuously from these ships. This live fire drill will last from 4-7 August.

Let us inform you that just 15 minutes after Nancy’s departure, China’s mouthpiece Global Times had told us that it would conduct live-fire drills around Taiwan from 4-7 August.

In this, it was described as a very special drill.

China started besieging Taiwan: Flights canceled due to live fire drill. Taiwan had to cancel about 51 international flights from its Taoyuan International Airport on Wednesday itself.

Apart from this, about 26 flights coming to Taiwan on Thursday have also had to be canceled. Apart from this, about 25 flights going from Taiwan have also been canceled for Thursday.

However, it was said from the airport that the flights have not been canceled due to China’s live-fire drill.

Japan opposes live fire drill: It has been said in South Korean media that due to this live-fire drill in China, flights to South Asia have been affected.

The same is the case with Japan. Japan has strongly opposed this action of China.

Here are the words of Nancy: Nancy Pelosi says that China wants to use psychological warfare against Taiwan to bring it under pressure.

Nancy has also said that China cannot stop any foreign leader from coming to Taiwan. Let us inform you that at the end of this year, members of the House of Commons of Britain will also visit Taiwan.

US-China Relations: US President may talk to the Chinese President in ‘the next 10 days on the Taiwan dispute.

US President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that he plans to speak with Chinese President Xi Jinping over the next ten days.

Biden told reporters, “I think I will speak to President Xi within the next 10 days. Biden’s remarks come at a critical moment when both countries are dealing with tensions over the situation in Taiwan.

It also cast doubts on an allegedly planned visit by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, to visit Taiwan next month.

Biden said the US military believes it is not a good idea for Pelosi to travel to Taiwan as planned. “The military just doesn’t think it’s a good idea,” Biden said Wednesday, quoting a White House press pool.

Chinese ambassador accuses the US of weakening the “One China” policy.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Ambassador to the US Qin Gang alleged that the US was undermining the “One China” policy through its support for Taiwan.

Qin said at the Aspen Security Forum, “We urge the United States to honor its commitments with actions and to fully implement the One China policy.”

China believes that relations with the United States have not improved since the Trump administration but expects President Biden to improve bilateral relations, the words spoken are supported by actions.

The Taiwan issue has been at the forefront of US-China relations in recent months.

China pressurizes Taiwan to fly war planes.

Taiwan and mainland China have been governed separately since defeated Nationalists retreated to the island at the end of the Chinese Civil War more than 70 years ago.

But China’s ruling Communist Party of China (CCP) sees the self-governing island as part of its territory, while it has never been controlled.

Beijing has not ruled out military force to occupy Taiwan and has maintained pressure on the democratic island with frequent warplane flights into the island’s ADIZ over the years.

An ADIZ is imposed unilaterally and is distinct from sovereign airspace, which is defined under international law as a distance of 12 nautical miles from a territory’s shoreline.

China’s J-16 fighter jet entered Taiwan’s Air Defense Zone, missile deployed for security.

China’s fighter jet has once again violated Taiwan’s airspace. Taiwan has said that Chinese fighter planes entered its air defense zone. This is the 12th airspace violation by China this month.

It has been told by the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan that the Shenyang J-16 fighter jet of the People’s Liberation Army Air Force of China entered the South West Air Defense Zone of Taiwan.

In response, Taiwan sent a radio warning to that fighter plane and later deployed its air defense missile while monitoring it.

Let us tell you that the information of every fighter aircraft entering the Air Defense Identification Zone is provided by the Air Traffic Controller along with its identity.

In this month, 38 aircraft of China have been tracked in this defense zone so far. Of these, about 26 were fighter jets, nine were sport planes and three were helicopters.

China’s J-16 fighter jet entered Taiwan: Significantly, Beijing asserts its right over Taiwan. About 25 million people live in Taiwan.

China considers these people living in Taiwan as its citizens and Taiwan as part of its mainland. China is also very aggressive about this.

The Chinese President has repeatedly spoken of going to any level to reunite Taiwan with his mainland. He has also been directly threatening about this.

It is also necessary to mention here that as long as the Winter Olympic Games were going on in Beijing, during that time Chinese fighter planes did not violate Taiwan’s airspace even once.

But since the end of these games, its fighter planes keep entering Taiwan’s Air Defense Zone every day.

Significantly, Taiwan has been separated from mainland China for seven decades. In view of China’s misadventures, Taiwan has made many strategic agreements in view of its security.

These include the agreement made with America. The US has been consistently misrepresenting Taiwan’s air border violations by China.

America and China have also come face to face on this issue many times. Not only this, but America has also deployed its aircraft carrier in this area in view of China.
