Four college students are suspiciously missing from Raichur City in Karnataka. They are being searched. Police are also investigating them in the neighboring states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

These girls have been identified as Monica, Bhagyashree, a student of class XII, and Nandini, a student of class XI.

All of them are students of Raichur Government Women’s College. Police said the girls had gone missing four days ago.

Girl Students missing: According to the attendance register, the girls were not regular in the class – Principal.

The principal of the college, Chandrashekhar, said on Monday that according to the attendance register, girls have not been coming to the class for the last four days.

The principal said, “These girls are missing from outside the college. They are our responsibility after coming to the college campus. I myself go on rounds to monitor students and teachers.

I appeal to parents not to panic and send their children to college. The school authority also said that girls did not attend classes regularly and they were also behind in studies.

The parents of all the four missing girls have lodged a complaint at the Raichur Women’s Police Station.

Lip-lock case in Mangaluru.

On Friday, a case of lip-lock was reported from Mangaluru, Karnataka in which students were involved.

Kerala NEET Controversy: Five women who conducted searches were arrested.

Kerala Police have arrested five women who forcibly took off the underwear of some students during a search ahead of the NEET exam at the Kollam Center in Kerala.

Police are interrogating all of them. According to Kerala Police, three of these women are employees of an agency appointed by the NTA.

While two other women are employees of a private educational institute (NEET examination center) located at Ayur in Kollam.

Kerala Police has registered a case under sections 354 and 509 of IPC for making students take off their underwear in the NEET exam.

The formal complaint was made by a 17-year-old student who appeared in this exam for the first time.

Let us tell you that on March 17, the Karnataka High Court banned the wearing of hijab in educational institutions.

The court had dismissed all the petitions challenging the ban on hijab in educational institutions.

The High Court had said in the judgment that wearing a hijab is not a religious practice and hence it cannot be allowed to be worn.

The hijab controversy in Karnataka started in January this year when some hijab-wearing girl students were denied entry to a government girls’ PU college in the state’s Udupi district.

After this, the girls protested against not being allowed to attend the classes. The girl students also approached the Karnataka High Court for this, but the court rejected all the petitions.

The court said that wearing the hijab is not a compulsory religious practice of Islam.
