A police constable was arrested and suspended on Friday for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the state government.

Kanthi police commissioner Rana Tata said the constable made derogatory remarks against the chief minister, his family, and the state government in a conversation with a villager at a petrol pump near Gauravram village in the NTR district on January 1.
