The troubles of Swapna Suresh, the main accused in the Kerala Gold Smuggling Case, are increasing continuously.
CBI has issued notice to Kerala gold smuggling case prime accused Swapna Suresh to appear before them for questioning in the Life Mission case.
The CBI has asked him to appear on Monday, July 11 at 10.30 am.
Swapna Suresh’s troubles increased in Kerala Gold Smuggling Case: What is Gold Smuggling Case?
The gold smuggling case in Kerala is related to the smuggling of gold into the state through diplomatic channels.
On July 5, 2020, 30 kg gold worth about Rs 15 crore was seized by the Customs Department in Thiruvananthapuram.
The accused Swapna was released in November last year after spending 16 months in jail in this case.
The matter came into the limelight after the arrest of Pinarayi Vijayan’s principal secretary, M. Sivashankar.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) investigation confirmed that one of the accused had relations with Swapna Suresh.
Swapna Suresh has made serious allegations against the Chief Minister of the state.
Kerala gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh accused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of harassing her.
Swapna Suresh said that she is trying to bring out the truth. but they annoy me.
Earlier, Swapna Suresh had said that she is being threatened by phone calls since July 2.
It is being said that if she does not stop naming Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his family, or LDF MLA KT Jaleel in the smuggling case, she will be eliminated.
