The release date of the much-awaited second season of Sushmita Sen’s web series Arya has been confirmed.

Sushmita made her digital debut with this series which reached the nomination at the Emmy Awards and returned to acting after many years.

Arya, which was released on Disney Plus Hotstar, won the hearts of the fans, due to which Sushmita’s return was a bang.

On Thursday, the release date of the second season of Aarya was confirmed with the trailer. Aarya 2 is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from 10th December.

The second season traces the story of Arya’s replacement, protecting the children and becoming a don in the process.

The story of Arya is set in Rajasthan. In the last season, the audience saw that Arya along with her husband and children wants to move away from the criminal family.

Chandrachud Singh was in the role of husband, who accompanies Arya in her decision.

But, before Arya can get over this, the husband is killed. Arya has her own family and other enemies under suspicion.

In the second season, Arya will be seen dealing with these. Arya is produced by Endemol Shine India and Ram Madhvani Films. Ram is also its director.

The second season will see Sushmita alongside Sikander Kher, Vikas Kumar, Mayo Sarao, Ankur Bhatia, Akarsh Khurana, and Dilnaz Irani in lead roles.

Regarding the second season, Ram Madhvani said that Arya’s character is a symbol of strength on one hand and on the other hand she is also very sensitive.

In the first season, we saw that Arya used to take a moral stand about the happenings around her but this time survival will be the most important quality in front of her.
