In G-20 and G-7, India’s Sherpa Suresh Prabhu said on Monday that India is a leader in the fight against money laundering. Money laundering is said to be directly related to terrorism.
Addressing the ‘AML / CFT (Anti Money Laundering / Combating the Financing of Terrorism) Conference 2020’ online, Prabhu said that people of criminal tendency use terrorism and the kind of terrorism the world is facing on a large scale.
He said that India is a leader in the fight against money laundering. It is possible to stop terrorism by prohibiting money laundering, as there is a direct connection between money laundering and terrorism.
Rajya Sabha member and former Union Minister Prabhu also said that the money that goes to terrorism is black money, which is created from illegal sources.

India’s eye on Chinese interference in Nepal openly, know what is PM Modi’s stand
Despite China’s open interference in the ongoing political instability in Nepal, India continues to maintain a policy of silence in the internal affairs of its neighboring country.
India is appalled at China’s open involvement in Nepal’s political activities but does not want to react to the message that it has an interest in the political upsurge.
India believes that it is not in the interest of relations with neighboring countries to make any commentary on political matters in neighboring countries.
Two years ago, India had adopted a similar strategy in the Maldives and it had a positive advantage. However, Indian strategists are keeping an eye on each of Kathmandu’s activities.
China is trying to influence Nepal’s political process
On the other hand, China has engaged in influencing Nepal’s political process by keeping all diplomatic forces in check.
For the last two days, a party of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Nepal has been intervening to discuss all sides and between the two senior leaders of the Nepal Communist Party PM KP Sharma Oli and Pushp Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
The Chinese team has met PM Oli and Prachanda separately. The CPC team also held discussions with the President of Nepal for two hours.
The Kathmandu Post, Nepal’s main English newspaper, wrote that, under the leadership of CPC Deputy Leader Guo Yezhu, the party reached the presidential residence just hours after reaching Kathmandu.
The party met PM Oli directly after meeting President BD Bhandari.
