Supreme Court said – do not make a national level issue of hijab and refused an urgent hearing: Hijab Conflict.

The interim order of the Karnataka High Court in the Karnataka Hijab case was challenged in the Supreme Court today. The Supreme Court has refused to hear this petition urgently.

The Supreme Court said that it is keeping an eye on the Karnataka case and is currently hearing in the High Court.

While advising the lawyers, the Supreme Court said that does not make it a national-level issue and the Supreme Court will intervene in the matter at the right time.

Significantly, a student had filed a petition in the Supreme Court in this matter.

Let us tell you that the Karnataka High Court had on Thursday issued an order that no school should wear religious dress in colleges till the petition is pending.

In this, schools and colleges were also asked to be opened. The hearing of the case will continue in the High Court on Monday as well.

The High Court in its order said that we will pass the order. Till then, let the school-college start. But till the matter is not resolved, no one will be allowed to wear religious attire.

The High Court said, “Religious clothes like the hijab or saffron shawls shall not be worn in school-college premises till the disposal of the judgment.

We’ll stop everyone. Because we want peace in the state. The High Court is hearing petitions on behalf of Muslim girl students challenging the hijab ban in colleges.

There are many cases pending in court.

During the hearing of the case, the State High Court has said that at present they are also considering other issues whether wearing a headscarf comes under Fundamental Rights.

The court said that they are also considering whether wearing the headscarf is an essential part of religious tradition.

Youth Congress President filed the petition in Supreme Court.

On the other hand, a new petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on Thursday.

In this petition, Youth Congress President BV Srinivas and a journalism student have called the right to practice religion a fundamental right in the Constitution.

It has been said in the petition that this is a direct violation of fundamental rights and also such incidents are happening in many states, so it would be better for the top court to take cognizance of it.
