Students Can Get Gift Like Smartphone Or Laptop In The Budget

Students can get a gift like a smartphone or a laptop in the budget, the government is trying to connect everyone with online studies: Union Budget.

Due to the Corona epidemic, the central government can give some big gifts to the general government in the coming general budget, forcing school students to stay in their homes.

According to the information being received at the moment, children can be provided with the facility of devices such as smartphones, tabs, laptops or television for online studies.

These days the government’s focus is on online studies. The government has already announced the launch of 12 new TV channels for students from first to 12th standard, preparations are going on at a rapid pace.

If sources are to be believed, the government is also serious about the options for providing school children with resources such as smartphones, tabs, laptops, or televisions for online education.

As it has become clear in various recent reports that still over 38 percent of Students do not have any means to connect with online studies.

According to the 2020 report of an NGO called ‘Asar’ (Annual State of Education Report), about 44 percent of the resource-less students belong to government schools.

At the same time, the number of such children studying in private schools is also around 26 percent.

Several states have also raised this issue before the Union Ministry of Education. Especially when it is engaged in direct discussions with the states regarding the implementation of the National Education Policy.

States say that they want to make their online education system, but not all children have the means to connect with it. According to the report, this is the situation when a large number of parents have bought smartphones for their children.

According to the report, out of the students enrolled in 2019, only 36 percent of children and their families had smartphones, which has now increased to around 61 percent.

The government provides financial assistance to the states every year to strengthen school education.

This year is even more special, because this year, there will be rapid work on the implementation of the National Education Policy. In this case, special provisions can be made for this in the budget as well.
