Stone pelting in two groups for installing Shivaji’s statue in Telangana, Section 144 imposed.

On Sunday, two groups pelted stones at each other over the installation of a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Bodhan town of Telangana’s Nizamabad district.

Prohibitory orders have been imposed after this. Police said that tear gas shells were used to disperse the crowd. A constable was injured in stone-pelting.

According to the police, a group was getting the statue installed. Another group was opposing it. This led to demonstrations and stone-pelting.

Stone pelting in two groups: Nizamabad Police Commissioner KR Nagaraju said that prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC were imposed.

Another police officer in charge of law and order said a police picket has been set up and preventive arrests have been made. He said that permission was not taken to install the statue.

The additional police force has been deployed and peace is maintained.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Aravind tweeted, ‘Bodhan Municipal Council approved the installation of Shivaji Maharaj’s statue and passed the resolution.

Now TRS-MIM goons are creating ruckus and tension in the town.

The hijab case will be heard in the Supreme Court today, the Karnataka High Court had rejected the petition of the girl students.

The Supreme Court will hear today the petitions filed against the Karnataka High Court’s decision to ban hijab in schools and colleges.

After the High Court’s decision, many girl students had moved to the Supreme Court.

The High Court, in its judgment on March 15, had said that hijab is not a mandatory part of Islam and girl students will have to attend classes without hijab.

At the same time, after the decision of the High Court, many girl students have refused to appear in the examination.

Judges get Y category security after threats.

Meanwhile, the judges of the Karnataka High Court, who pronounced the decision on the ban on the hijab, have been given Y category security by the state government.

According to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the decision has been taken after the video surfaced in which the judges were threatened with death.
