States will get 48 lakh more doses of corona vaccine in three days: Union Health Ministry.
States and Union Territories currently have 1.80 crore doses of the Corona vaccine. Giving this information, the Union Health Ministry said that they will get 48 lakh more doses within three days.
21.80 crore doses of vaccine have been made available to the states so far
The ministry said that so far a total of 21.80 crore doses of corona vaccine have been made available to the states and union territories under the free and direct purchase category. Of this, 200 million doses have been used, including the damaged ones.
129th day of vaccination campaign: 19.84 crore doses so far.
The ministry said that according to the data received till eight o’clock on Monday night, 19.84 crore doses have been applied to the beneficiaries so far.
On Monday, 23.65 lakh vaccines were administered on the 129th day of the vaccination campaign. Of these, 21.90 lakh were awarded the first and 1.74 lakh beneficiaries were given the second dose.
The first dose was given to 5.68 crore people across 60 years.
Among the beneficiaries, the first dose has been given to 5.68 crore people above the age of 60 years and the second dose to 1.83 crore people.
At the same time, 6.15 crore people in the age group of 45-60 have been given the first dose and nearly one crore people have been given the second dose.
Apart from this, health workers and frontline workers are also included in the vaccine.
Wrong picture showing redundancy, no criticism of administration’s criticism with health staff.
Due to the vulnerability, the second wave has posed many challenges to the society. Many people have lost their loved ones. Hospitals are crowded and do not have the capacity to handle so many patients.
All these news and developments have created a frightening picture about the situation in India. It is estimated that the actual number of people who lost their lives may be 10 times or even more than the government figures.
From the government to the administration and the doctors, everyone is being blamed for the current situation.
However, at this time, the situation needs to be viewed from the right perspective, so that one can draw the correct conclusions.
First let’s talk about the number of people who lost their lives to Corona. It is true that at some time and in some places there was under-reporting of the death toll. But it remained so limited.
Therefore, there is no dramatic difference between the official figures and the actual figures, if we look at the death toll during the second wave in totality.
The actual figures will be less than double. Now let’s talk about the collapse of the infrastructure of hospitals.
Although our health infrastructure is not very good, but it is also true that such an epidemic can destroy even the best system.
