South Africa vs India: KL Rahul Appointed As Vice-captain

South Africa vs India test series 2021-22: KL Rahul made it clear that how many bowlers will Team India play against South Africa.

Vice-captain KL Rahul, who was appointed for the three-match Test series against South Africa, indicated that Team India will take the field with five bowlers during this Test series.

The Boxing Day Test match between India and South Africa will start on December 26. Under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, the Indian team has landed in most Test matches with only five bowlers.

This year, on the tour of England after three Test matches during Australia, the Indian team entered the Test with only five bowlers and the team was also very successful.

However, there is still suspense on whether this combination will continue against the Proteas due to injuries to the team’s new head coach Rahul Dravid and Ravindra Jadeja.

South Africa vs India test series 2021-22: KL Rahul said during the press conference that it seems to me that most teams have started playing with 5 bowlers and every team wants to take 20 wickets.

That’s the only way you can win a Test match. We have adopted this strategy and it has helped us a lot overseas also.

Let us tell you that if Team India decides to go with five bowlers, then there is a lot of possibilities that Shardul Thakur and R Ashwin can be included in the playing XI.

Both these players can also bat and due to their presence, Team India’s batting will also have depth. In this, Shardul can bat at number seven, while R Ashwin can bat at number eight.

The Indian team will play the first three-match Test series on this tour, while after its end, it will play a three-match ODI series.

The second semi-final match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021.

Tamil Nadu defeated Saurashtra to make it to the final. In this very exciting match, the Tamil Nadu team won by two wickets.

Batting in the first innings in this match, Saurashtra scored a mammoth score of 310 for 8 in 50 overs and set Tamil Nadu a target of 311 runs to win.

In response, the Tamil Nadu team won the match by scoring 314 for 8 wickets in 49.5 overs. Tamil Nadu will now face Himachal Pradesh in the final.

Himachal’s team had made it to the final after defeating Services by 77 runs in the first semi-final match.
