During this, two civilians have also been killed in the grip of cross-firing.

He, however, did not say that the two civilians killed in the cross-firing were the same ones who were killed in the November 15 encounter at Hyderpora and were said to be aides of the terrorists at that time.

The IGP said that in the year 2020, the police in Kashmir in collaboration with various security agencies had killed 207 terrorists in different encounters.

Last year only one civilian was killed in the cross-firing. He said that since January 1, 2020, 351 terrorists have been killed in the Valley and three civilians have been killed in cross-firing.

He said that if we talk about the ongoing terrorist violence in Kashmir for the last three decades, then the number of terrorists killed in cross-firing is the lowest in the last two years.
