Since January 2020, 351 terrorists have been eliminated in Jammu and Kashmir: IGP Kashmir.

Since January 1, 2020, 351 terrorists have been killed in various encounters in the Kashmir Valley.

During this, three civilians also died due to cross-firing. This information was given by IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar.

In a conversation after three TRF terrorists were killed in an encounter with the police in Srinagar, he said that 144 terrorists have been killed so far this year.

During this, two civilians have also been killed in the grip of cross-firing.

He, however, did not say that the two civilians killed in the cross-firing were the same ones who were killed in the November 15 encounter at Hyderpora and were said to be aides of the terrorists at that time.

The IGP said that in the year 2020, the police in Kashmir in collaboration with various security agencies had killed 207 terrorists in different encounters.

Last year only one civilian was killed in the cross-firing. He said that since January 1, 2020, 351 terrorists have been killed in the Valley and three civilians have been killed in cross-firing.

He said that if we talk about the ongoing terrorist violence in Kashmir for the last three decades, then the number of terrorists killed in cross-firing is the lowest in the last two years.

52 kg heroin being carried hidden in apple boxes, police seized from truck in Jhajjar Kotli.

Police have recovered a consignment of 52 kg heroin at a checkpoint on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway. This consignment of heroin was hidden in an apple truck.

The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday when the police raided the Jhajjar Kotli located on the National Highway.

The truck HR73-2226 was stopped for investigation during a check at Suketar near the police station.

When the police searched the truck, the consignment of heroin was hidden in the apple boxes kept in it. The truck was going from Srinagar to Delhi.

The truck driver fled on seeing the exigencies of the spot. While a person in the truck was arrested by the police on the spot.

The accused has been identified as Bharat Shah son of Balkrishna resident of Kurukshetra Haryana.

When the police emptied the truck, 52 packets of heroin came out in it. All the packets are of each fort.

Which were hidden in the apple boxes in such a way that Let no one look at him. Police sources say that this consignment has reached Kashmir from Pakistan across the border.
