Sikh Delegation Honored PM Modi By Tying A Turban

Sikh delegation honored PM Modi by tying a turban and also gave gurudwara offerings and blessings.

A delegation of the Sikh community met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. Gurdwara Bangla Sahib had organized ‘Akhand Path’ on the occasion of PM Modi’s birthday.

A delegation of Bangla Sahib Gurdwara called on him today at his residence on Lok Kalyan Marg.

The Sikh delegation honored the Prime Minister by tying a turban and presenting a Siropa. An ‘ardas’ (prayer) was also performed for the long life and good health of the Prime Minister.

During this, PM Modi reiterated the commitment of his government to work continuously for the welfare of the Sikh community.

On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday on September 17, Gurudwara Bala Sahib in Delhi organized ‘Akhand Path’, which began on September 15 and ended on September 17.

Sikh delegation honored PM Modi: Gurudwara organized health and blood donation.

Officials said it was the ‘Akhand Path’, which was attended by thousands of Sikh devotees.

This was notably the first of its kind initiative, in which a Gurudwara organized ‘Akhand Path’ for the Prime Minister of the country.

Officials said that the langar, health camp, and blood donation camp were also organized by the Gurudwara on this occasion.

A delegation of the Gurdwara visited PM Modi at his residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg on Monday and offered him prasad and blessings.

According to officials, Prime Minister Modi expressed happiness over meeting the delegation and thanked them for their good wishes and prayed for their well-being.

Modi said he was humbled and deeply impressed by their gesture to make him feel part of the Sikh community.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to work relentlessly for the welfare of the Sikh community.

The delegation appreciated the work of PM Modi.

During the meeting, the delegation thanked the Prime Minister for the important initiative taken by him for the respect and welfare of the Sikh community.

The members of the delegation expressed happiness over the declaration of 26 December as ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ and the reopening of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor.

Many of Modi’s efforts, including the removal of GST on ‘langars’ run by Gurudwaras, were also highly appreciated by the delegation.
