During the lockdown, when lakhs of laborers left for Bihar, the Punjab government made special arrangements ranging from their stay to food, they were sent back by paying railway fare for them. Now Congress has made Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh a star campaigner in Bihar elections.

On the other hand, Navjot Singh Sidhu, who campaigned for the Congress in Bihar in the Lok Sabha elections, has been excluded from the list of star campaigners of the assembly elections.

It is believed that Sidhu did not find a place in the list of star campaigners because he made a controversial statement during the election campaign in Katihar in 2019. After which case was also registered against Sidhu.

Bihar Police reached his residence at Amritsar to summon Sidhu. When the summons was not taken for him or his representative for about ten days, the police went back by summoning outside Sidhu’s house.

The discussion has spread in political circles due to Sidhu not being made a star campaigner. It is being said that if he had gone to Bihar to the campaign, he could have got caught in that case and the Congress would have been spoiled.

At the same time, there is a discussion about the fact that the manner in which Sidhu heard his own party government in front of Rahul Gandhi in Moga’s Bandhani Kalan on October 4, Rahul Gandhi does not consider it right.

For this reason, Congress has slammed Sidhu by not making him a star campaigner. While Congress general secretary and in-charge of Punjab Harish Rawat was repeatedly reiterating that he is the future of the Congress party and the Congress will use them better in the future.
