Shiva Trilogy Web Series: Announcement of web series on Amish Tripathi’s ‘Shiva Trilogy’, Shekhar Kapur took over the command of the direction.

Amish Tripathi’s highly popular mythological novel series Shiva Trilogy is now all set to be brought to the cinematic screen.

The direction has been handed over to veteran director Shekhar Kapur, who is directing the series on this Shiva trilogy.

According to the news of Variety, it is being produced by global entertainment studio International Art Machine. This is the first project of this Hollywood company in India.

Apart from this, the production studio has announced other projects, which are associated with Preity Zinta, Dibakar Banerjee, and Suparn S Verma.

Rai Price, former president of Amazon Prime Video, has also tweeted this information. Roy is the CEO of International Art Machine.

Roy wrote – Excited to announce the world-class team of Shiva Trilogy TV Series. Hoping to present Indian novels on screen in the best possible way.

Three novels were released under Amish Tripathi’s novel series Shiva Trilogy – Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas, and The Oath of Vayuputraj.

All the three books came out in 2010, 2011, and 2013 respectively, and were very successful.

The story of this trilogy is set in a prosperous kingdom named Meluha and is told in the period many centuries before the time of Lord Rama.

Expressing happiness on this announcement, he wrote – There cannot be a better team than Shekhar Kapur, Roy Price, and Suparn to bring Shiv Trilogy on the OTT platform.

Shiva is the head of the Gana Tribe. The trilogy covers the story of Lord Shiva and Sati in a very exciting and believable manner.

The family man 2 writer Suparn S Verma is also associated with this project, who will take over the responsibility of showrunner and direction.

Apart from the Shiva trilogy series, The Kitty Party Thriller Series has also been announced, to which Preity Zinta is associated.

This is a murder mystery. Dibakar Banerjee will direct the political drama Gods.
