Shiv Sena Leader Anil Parab Summoned By ED

Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab again under ED’s target, was summoned for questioning today: Money Laundering Case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab on June 15 for questioning in the money laundering case.

He is accused of violating the provisions of the Coastal Regulation Zone in the construction of a resort in the Dapoli area of Ratnagiri district.

Officials said on Tuesday that the central agency wants to record Parab’s statement under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

Parab has been asked to appear before the probe agency’s regional office in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Last month, the ED had raided the premises of Parab and those allegedly associated with him in the money laundering case. The action was taken after the ED registered a fresh case under the PMLA.

Parab is a Shiv Sena leader and a three-time Legislative Council member. He is also the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs of the state.

A few days ago, the ED had raided seven locations of Parab in Pune and Mumbai. There is an allegation of taking bribes of crores against the Shiv Sena leader, due to which the ED took this action.

The ED has also registered a case of money laundering against him, under which action is going on at his seven locations.

The name also came in the Ambani bomb threat case.

Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab’s name had also cropped up in the Ambani bomb threat case. The arrested former API of Mumbai Police Sachin Vaze had leveled many allegations against him.

The biggest allegation on Parab was that he used to take bribes of crores while in the post of minister. He is also accused of taking bribes in transfer-posting.

Devendra Fadnavis’s micro-management won the party more than expected in the Rajya Sabha elections.

Sometimes the difference between victory and defeat between any two runners on the field of play is only a few seconds.

But the same difference makes one a champion, while the other gets lost in the darkness of history. This time a similar game took place in the political arena in Maharashtra.

The third candidate of the opposition BJP went ahead of the third candidate of Mahavikas Aghadi by a margin of only a few points in the Rajya Sabha elections.

The defeat has not only sowed the seeds of distrust in the three-party ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi but also shook their confidence.

There is praise everywhere, just because of the micro-management of Devendra Fadnavis, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly.
