Shakib Al Hasan ready to return after the ban is over, will be seen playing in T20 Cup at Bangabandhu stadium Dhaka.

After a year-long hiatus, Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will return to competitive cricket.

At the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Bangabandhu will be seen playing for Jemcon Khulna against Fortune Barisal in the T20 Cup.

Significantly, Shakib was banned for a year due to breaking the rule of anti corruption, which ended on 29 October.

After the ban was lifted, he had to wait about a month to play cricket as there was no tournament in Bangladesh during this period.

However, Shakib trained for four weeks at BKSP in September with his mentor Muhammad Salahuddin and Najmul Abedin Faheem.

He did Y training mainly in Sri Lanka to play in the second Test of Bangladesh tour. The series was later postponed.

Was threatened with death

Right after the ban was over, he interacted with the media through his YouTube channel. During this, he hoped that his teammates would keep faith in him after his return.

Recently, he received death threats for Kali Puja in Kolkata. He also apologized for this. The police later arrested the threatening person.

The left-handed Bangladeshi cricketer has played 56 Test matches for Bangladesh so far. During this time he has scored 3862 runs at an average of 39.41.

He has taken 210 wickets. He has played 206 ODIs and has scored 6323 runs at an average of 37.64. He has taken 260 wickets.

He has played 76 matches in T20 and has scored 1567 runs at an average of 23.74 and has taken 92 wickets.

He also has a good playing experience. He has played 63 matches in this league cricket. During this time he has scored 746 runs and taken 59 wickets.
