Sevilla Defeated Barcelona In Messi’s 900th Match

Sevilla defeated Barcelona in Messi’s 900th match, Atlanta and Juventus will clash in the Copa Italia Cup final.

Argentina’s Star Struckle and Barcelona’s John Leon Messi had a career-forgetting 900th match. Messi suffered a loss in his career’s 900th match when Sevilla beat Barcelona 2–0 in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg.

Messi has played 758 matches for Barcelona and 142 for Argentina. Messi missed a few chances to score, taking advantage of which Sevilla registered an eighth consecutive win.

Jules Konde scored in the 25th minute to give the team a 1-0 lead. Then in the 85th minute of the match in the second half, Ivan Reticic scored a brilliant goal to give the team a 2–0 lead.

Sevilla performed a brilliant game against Barcelona and increased the pressure on Barcelona.

Barcelona manager Ronald Coman fielded Junior Mingoza in the junior Firpo and central defense. Lucas Okposo from Sevilla ruled out of the match due to injury.

Barcelona had so far scored 37 goals against Prado and Messi Stevia, but both players failed to score a goal in this match.

Messi got a free-kick from Barcelona in the 90th minute but was stopped by Sevia goalkeeper Yassine Bono. The second leg will be played on 27 February. Another semi-finalist will face Athletic Bilbao against Levante.

Atlanta and Juventus will clash in the finals

Bergamo: Atlanta advanced to the final of the Copa Italia Cup after beating defending champions Napoli 3–1, where they will face Juventus. Matteo Pacini scored two and Duwan Japata scored one goal for Atlanta.

Hirving Lozano scored the only goal for Napoli. The final will be played on 19 May.

Manchester City in quarter-finals

London: Despite having one of the busiest seasons in the history of English football, Manchester City entered the FA Cup quarter-finals with a record 15th win.

Pep Guardiola’s team defeated Swansea 3–1 on Wednesday. City also holds the record for the most consecutive wins of a top team. Prior to this, Preston had 14 consecutive wins in 1892, while Arsenal repeated the feat in 1987.

Sheffield United also beat Bristol City 1-0 to make it to the last-eight. Leicester also beat Brighton by one goal to reach the quarter-finals.
