Semester Exams To Be Held Online In Tamil Nadu Colleges

Semester exams to be held online between February 1-20 in Tamil Nadu colleges amid covid. A lot has changed due to the global pandemic coronavirus.

Talking about the education system, the epidemic has had a profound effect on education. For almost 2 years all the children are studying online.

Along with online studies, students are also giving online exams. At the same time, once again the situation is getting worse day by day due to the third wave of the virus.

Amid rising cases of new COVID-19 variant Omicron, the Tamil Nadu government on Friday said that semester exams in all colleges will be conducted online from February 1 to February 20.

Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi gave information.

Giving information regarding the opening of the college, Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi said that the government will make a decision regarding the opening of the college only after February 20.

He said, “The semester examinations in Tamil Nadu colleges will be online from February 1 to February 20. The final semester examinations (after June) will be conducted physically.

Schools/colleges have been closing amidst increasing cases.

As new cases of viruses are increasing in the country, schools and colleges are being closed for the first time.

Earlier on January 16, in view of the rising cases in Tamil Nadu, the state government had announced that all schools would remain closed till January 31.

Not only this, but the state government had also postponed all the examinations to be held from January 19.

All school students in the state have received the first dose of vaccination.

In view of the increase in new cases of coronavirus, the vaccination drive of school students in Tamil Nadu was intensified.

Tamil Nadu on Friday reported 29,870 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, while 21,684 infected persons have recovered and 33 deaths have been reported.
