He then said that there is pressure on the administration to remove the farmers, but the protesters will not vacate the place. This issue should be raised in Parliament and Prime Minister Narendra Modi should speak on the issue of farmers.

Farmers Protest at Tikri & Gazipur Border: Security Increased

The electricity department of Uttar Pradesh restored power supply for farmers deposited on the Ghazipur border on Friday morning. It is being told that this has been done quietly by the department.

Earlier, following the uproar during the tractor parade in Delhi on Republic Day, the Ghaziabad district administration has vigorously ordered the protesting farmers at the UP Gate to vacate the picket, but the situation has remained the same since Friday morning.

After the notice, Rakesh Tikait, spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union, ready for arrest, refused to leave the protest site. He said that no farmer will leave his place.

On the other hand, just a few hours after making a statement related to the lifting of the dharna going on at UP Gate, Choudhary Naresh Tikait, President of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKIU) changed his voice after seeing tears of younger brother Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait.

On Thursday, Chaudhary Naresh Tikait, who had asked to picket the Ghazipur border during the day, convened the Kisan Panchayat in Sisauli, Muzaffarnagar at night and announced that the next decision would be taken on Friday.

He warned that if anything happens at the UP Gate at night, it will be the responsibility of the administration. Without arrest, if the investigation is completed, the situation can worsen. He said that the government is forcing the law to take over.
