Security Forces Killed Two Terrorists In Hyderpora Encounter

Security forces killed two terrorists in Hyderpora encounter: IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar.

Police had received information about two to three terrorists hiding in a house in Hyderpora, Srinagar.

Soon after, the police conducted a joint operation with the security forces and asked the terrorists to surrender.

Instead of surrendering, the terrorists started firing on the security forces. Security forces retaliated and killed two terrorists.

Mudassar Gul, who was killed in the Srinagar encounter, had made a hi-tech hideout for the terrorists.

A contractor by profession and an overground worker of terrorists, Mudassar Gul, who used to run a call center for a show, had opened a call center in the house where he lived.

He was in constant contact with terrorist organizations sitting in the country and abroad.

Fortunately, the security forces came to know about this hideout in time, and otherwise, these terrorists were planning a very big suicide attack in Srinagar in the coming days.

Four people have been killed in the encounter, including two terrorists, including a Pakistani, landlord Altaf Ahmed and tenant Mudassar Ahmed.

This was disclosed by IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar.

He said that in the search conducted in Mudassar’s room after the encounter, many such pieces of evidence have been found, which suggests this conspiracy.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by DIG will investigate the modalities of this hi-tech hideout located in Hyderpora.

The mobile phones and computer laptops recovered from here have been taken by the police. Now the SIT will also collect information about which countries these terrorists were in contact.

Giving details of the entire incident, IGP Vijay Kumar said that among the two terrorists killed in the encounter, Haider alias Bilal Bhai resident of Pakistan.

while the other was a local, identified as Amir, a resident of Banihal. Haider was the one who attacked the security forces in the Srinagar Down-Town area last Sunday.

One jawan was injured in this firing. After the attack, Mudassar Gul took both of them safely from the scene of the incident and brought them to their homes.
