Section 144 in Srinagar to prevent corona infection. : Administration implemented section 144 in Srinagar.
In view of the spurt in Corona infection cases in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, the administration has imposed section 144 in the municipal jurisdiction.
Confirming this, Srinagar’s SSP Sandeep Chaudhary said that the main motive behind the imposition of Section 144 is to prevent infection.
With the implementation of the section, the security forces deployed in Srinagar city have been enlarged on the roads.
People are not being allowed to gather. However, under the Corona rules, 50 percent of the shops in the city are already closed.
Not only this, traders and shopkeepers have also been instructed to strictly follow the rules. Now the administration has also imposed crowd ban by implementing Section 144.
SSP Chaudhary said that crowding of people in public vehicles remains a challenge for him. People are still traveling on these vehicles. Efforts are being made to solve this.
Public transporters are also being negotiated. As long as people keep coming in contact with each other, it is difficult to prevent corona infection. It is necessary to maintain physical distance of people to break the infection.
“Our goal is to stop the virus from spreading. The police, administration, social service organizations and common people will have to coordinate with each other.
Because it will not be possible to control when we all do not work together to stop this deadly virus. Everyone should follow the guidelines issued by the health department and the administration.
