Samsung can soon launch its new A-series smartphone Samsung Galaxy A73 in the market. However, some leaked specifications have surfaced ahead of the launch of the Galaxy A73.

In which the most attractive feature is believed to be the 108-megapixel primary sensor for the rear camera.

Apart from this, there is no other information available about Samsung’s upcoming A-series smartphone.

The South Korean tech giant has previously used a 108-megapixel sensor in its flagship smartphone in different versions.

However, it is not clear whether Samsung will use any of the existing sensors in the upcoming Galaxy A73 or if it will use the new 108-megapixel sensor.

The Galaxy A73 is speculated to be part of the 2022 lineup of A-series smartphones.

According to a tweet by tipster @GaryeonHan – which was first spotted by SamMobile – Samsung will use a 108-megapixel sensor on the Galaxy A73.

Samsung has previously used a 108-megapixel sensor in the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy S21 Ultra. However, it is not clear whether Samsung will use any of the existing sensors for the Galaxy A73.

Samsung used the ISOCELL HM3 sensor in the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It comes with a 1/1.33-inch sensor with 0.8-nanometer-size pixels.

A previous report said that the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra will get an updated 108-megapixel sensor for the rear camera.

It is said that instead of hardware changes, the sensor will be updated and polished with software optimizations

South Korean publication The Elec previously reported that Samsung will add optical image stabilization (OIS) to the entire 2022 lineup of the Galaxy A-series.

Samsung has already included the OIS feature for this year’s A-series range of Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones.

Even this year’s Galaxy A22, which is the entry-level model of the A-series, sports a 48-megapixel primary sensor with OIS. The Galaxy A-series is Samsung’s most popular smartphone range.
