Samsung Electronics Will Enter The World Of The Connected Cars

Samsung Electronics will enter the world of connected cars, Samsung’s big bet, will enter the world of connected cars, know the complete plan.

Samsung Electronics is expanding into Germany to enter the world of connected cars.

The company said on Friday that its subsidiary Harman International has bought an entire stake in German automotive software firm Apostera to expand its business in the mobile technology sector.

Founded in 2017 Apostera based in Munich is a specialized company of software solutions.

Samsung said the deal will help strengthen connected car solutions provider Harman’s automotive product portfolio. However, Samsung Electronics did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

What is a Connected Car Solution?

You must be wondering what is this connected car, then let us tell you that connected cars can be connected to smartphones with the help of the internet.

Many of the connected car features can be accessed from outside the car as well. Features in connected cars can also be accessed with voice commands.

In this, you get many many features like e-SIM connectivity, AVR (Augmented Vehicular Reality).

The distance between the digital and physical world will be less.

Samsung said that we hope that Harman’s digital cockpit product together with Apostera will bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds in the world of technology.

HARMAN Automotive Grade Solutions provides consumers with state-of-the-art connected car features, which enable in-car passengers to enjoy these features by connecting to the digital world.

Christian Sobotka, President of Harman’s Automotive Division, said in a statement that with Apostera, we will all work better together with a seamless physical environment.

Together with Apostera, the digital and connected car solution will be further developed. He said that we will work on improving the car display further.

Samsung acquired Harman for $8 billion.

Let us tell you that Samsung, the world’s largest memory chip and smartphone vendor, completed the acquisition of Harman in March for $ 8 billion.

Expanding into the rapidly growing in-vehicle electronics market in 2017 was reported by Yonhap News Agency.

At the CES 2022 last month, Samsung said it was working hard for the next acquisition targets and is expanding its business further to provide differentiated products for its customers.
