Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor’s ‘Bhoot Police’ will be released on the OTT platform only, first look released.

Bollywood films are continuing their release on OTT platforms in the wake of the Corona Virus Pandemic.

Now the sequel to this series is Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor’s Bhoot Police, which will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar.

The platform duly announced it on July 5. However, the release date has not been disclosed yet.

This is the first film of Saif, who is working continuously in the web series, which will come directly on the digital platform instead of theatres.

Bhoot Police is a horror comedy film, directed by Pawan Kriplani. The first look of Saif’s character Vibhuti from the film was revealed on Monday.

Along with Saif and Arjun, the film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Yami Gautam, and Javed Jaffrey as part of the main star cast.

At the same time, Arjun Kapoor is playing a character named Chironji in the film. Arjun is seen holding a torch in his hand on the first look poster.

The release date of Bhoot Police has not been disclosed yet, but it is believed that the film may release early next month.

Saif, Arjun, Jacqueline, Yami direct OTT release.

Saif made his debut on the OTT platform with the Netflix series Sacred Games. In the same year, his Pandav came on Amazon Prime Video.

At the same time, Arjun Kapoor’s film Sardar Ka Grandson is his first such film, which came on the OTT platform. The film was streamed on Netflix this year.

Jacqueline Fernandez’s first direct OTT release is Drive, which came on Netflix in 2020. In this film, Sushant Singh Rajput played the lead role with Jacqueline.

At the same time, Yami Gautam’s first direct OTT release is Ginni Weds Sunny, which came on Netflix in 2020. In this film, Vikrant Massey played the lead role along with Yami.

Producer Ramesh Taurani had hinted about the release of Bhoot Police on the OTT platform a few days back.

Talking to a leading newspaper, he said that he was left with no option. There is no possibility of theaters opening before November and that too with 50 percent capacity.

With the pace at which things are going, it will take time to return to the same situation as before. No artist has any objection to the film’s release on OTT.

Regarding the release date of the film, Taurani said that it is likely to release in September or October. Taurani said that she got a good deal for the film. However, it cannot be disclosed publicly.
