Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple Gates Will Open Again From Tomorrow

Sabarimala Ayyappa temple gates will open again from tomorrow, devotees will be allowed to visit from Sunday.

The gates of Sabarimala Lord Ayyappa temple in Kerala will reopen for ‘Thula Masam’ worship tomorrow i.e. on October 16 at 5 pm.

This information has been given in a press release issued by the Travancore Devaswom Board on Thursday. Here devotees will be allowed to worship from Sunday.

Devotees will be allowed to have darshan at 5 pm. Devotees will be able to have darshan after 5 o’clock. Devotees will be allowed only on the basis of the virtual booking system.

They have to submit either their double dose vaccination certificate or RT-PCR negative certificate before entering the temple.

‘Thula month’ is the monthly prayer in the month ‘Thulam’ according to the Malayalam calendar.

According to the release, a draw will also be held on October 17 in the presence of Devaswom President N Vasu and other officials to select the next chief priest of Sabarimala.

Apart from this, the temple will be closed on October 21 after monthly worship. The temple will reopen for Atta Chitra Puja on November 2 and will be closed on the next day of worship.

Former Karnataka Chief Minister Yeddyurappa’s befitting reply denied a secret meeting with Siddaramaiah.

Yeddyurappa has rejected JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy’s claim that there was a secret meeting between former Karnataka Chief Ministers Siddaramaiah and BS Yeddyurappa.

Former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa announced on the internet media that he would not rest until the next assembly elections saw the BJP retain power in Karnataka.

He said that we are working with the aim of bringing BJP to power in the upcoming assembly elections. I have never met opposition leader Siddaramaiah personally. There’s no need for it.

I have met him only on the occasion of my birthday on February 27, 2020.

Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy had issued a controversial statement saying BJP is targeting Yeddyurappa’s allies and close circle through IT raids as he met Siddaramaiah in Mysore to discuss the weakening of the ruling BJP in Karnataka.
