Russia Responds to Google, Shutdown Google News Service: Russia-Ukraine War.

The war between Russia and Ukraine continues. This war is being fought on land, surface, and sea. But a different war is being fought through digital mode.

American tech companies have entered the fray to help Ukraine. On their part, the scope of their service in Russia is being limited.

In retaliation on behalf of Russia, work is being done to ban tech companies from Western countries. In this episode, Google News Service has been banned by Russia.

In fact, recently Google closed the Russian advertising business on its video streaming platform Youtube. In response to this, the Google News Service has been shut down by Russia.

The action of banning Google News has been carried out by Russia’s communications regulator.

The regulator argued for banning Google service, saying that Google is working to spread propaganda war i.e. false news about the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

Many other Americas tech companies can be blamed.

Earlier Russia had also banned Facebook and Instagram. Let us tell you that Russia had also banned the micro-blogging site Twitter in the past.

Apart from this, some other companies are also on the target of Russia.

Modi Govt block 320 Chinese App: Chinese apps have been banned by the PM Modi government in several phases in the last few years.

Some of these apps were trying to enter the Indian market by changing the name, which the government has recently banned again.

By filing a reply in Parliament on behalf of the Central Government, it was told that till now about 320 mobile apps have been banned from their side.

The government says that these apps have been banned due to the security of the users and the unity and integrity of the country.

All these apps are blocked under a provision of the Information Technology (IT) Act
