RTGS Facility Will Be Available 24X7 From Today

RTGS facility will be available 24X7 from today, those doing digital transactions will have a big benefit.

The RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement System) facility in the country will start functioning from 12.30 pm tonight to 24 hours per day.

This will greatly facilitate the people doing digital transactions. With this, India will join the select countries where this facility works day and night.

Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das has given this information by tweeting. In his tweet, Das congratulated the teams of RBI, IFTAS, and service partners for this achievement.

The RTGS system in India will become a full-time working system from 14 December.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had announced in October to make the RTGS system a 24-hour system. Explain that the facility of NEFT is already available 24 * 7.

RTGS is a system used in large-scale electronic transactions. While up to two lakh rupees online transactions can be done from NEFT.

RTGS was launched on 26 March 2004. At that time only four banks used to provide payment facilities. Currently, there are 6.35 lakh transactions daily from RTGS.

Around 237 banks across the country conduct transactions worth Rs 4.17 lakh crore daily through this system.

In November, an average transaction of Rs 57.96 lakh was done from RTGS, making it a really useful option for a large amount of transactions.

Sensex, Nifty at record high, Burger King debut

The shopping continues in the stock market on the first trading day of the week. At 09:45 AM, the Sensex gained 204.78 points to trade at 46,303.79 and the Nifty jumped 61.15 points to trade at 13,575.00.

All sectoral indices are trading on the green mark at the beginning of the stock market.

Barring realty on the Nifty, Nifty Auto, Nifty Bank, Private Bank, IT Index, PSU Bank, Realty Index, Financial Services, Pharma, Metal and Media Index are seeing a boom.

It is worth mentioning that after reaching the low level in March, the Sensex had crossed 40 thousand on 40 October on 8 October.

On November 5, the Sensex closed at 41,340. On November 10, the index level at intraday reached 43,227, while it crossed 44180 on November 18 and 45000 on December 4.

On December 9, the Sensex closed at 46103.50, up from 46000 for the first time. Today, on December 14, the Sensex opened at 46284.7
