Rhea Chakraborty In Mumbai’s ED Office, Interrogation Continues, Siddharth Pithani also called yesterday: Sushant Singh Rajput Case. The case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has taken a new turn.

Rhea Chakraborty, the main accused in the case, has reached the Mumbai office for questioning at the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Riya is being questioned in the ED office. Earlier, he had requested the ED to stop questioning till the verdict on his petition filed in the Supreme Court.

But the ED turned down his request. It should be noted that in this case, ED has filed a case of money laundering against Rhea. The ED has summoned Rhea and called for questioning on Friday. Apart from this, ED has also called Siddharth Pithani, a friend of Sushant Singh Rajput, on Saturday for questioning.

ED has earlier questioned Sushant Singh Rajput’s House Manager Samuel Miranda, Sushant’s Chartered Accountant (CA) Sandeep Sridhar, and Rhea Chakraborty’s CA Ritesh Shah.

ED is investigating millions of transactions, inquiries

In the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, the ED has registered a case of money laundering for a transaction of Rs 15 crore. These rupees are derived from Sushant’s account.

ED is finding out where these money went. In this connection, Samuel Miranda has been questioned after interrogating Sandeep Sridhar on Monday, Ritesh Shah on Tuesday.

Now it is Rhea’s tax turn today. But Riya cited her suit pending in the Supreme Court to avoid questioning. According to the leading news agency, Riya Chakraborty’s lawyer Satsarsh Manashinde has requested the ED not to interrogate Rhea at present.

But the ED refused to accept Rhea Chakraborty’s request. According to the news agency, after this, she has reached the ED’s Mumbai office for questioning.

Please tell that Sushant Singh Rajput’s father also mentioned the manipulation of money in the FIR against Riya. The Enforcement Directorate is also investigating this with the money laundering angle.

ED was to question Riya on 7 August. Meanwhile, ED has also asked Sushant’s former business manager Shruti Modi to be present on Friday. Apart from this, Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani has also been called on 8 August.

Riya’s petition pending in Supreme Court

It may be noted that Sushant Singh Rajput died on 14 June in his flat in Mumbai. Dissatisfied with the Mumbai Police’s research into the case, Sushant’s father lodged an FIR against his son’s girlfriend, Riya Chakraborty, in Patna for extortion, blackmail, torture and abetment of suicide, etc.

After this, Patna Police reached Mumbai to investigate the matter, with which the police their non-cooperation. Riya Chakraborty also reached the Supreme Court regarding the transfer of FIR registered in Patna to Mumbai and other issues. She is also opposing the CBI inquiry.

Along with Sushant’s father, the Bihar government is also in the court against him, while the Maharashtra government stands in support of Riya. In the first hearing on August 5, the Supreme Court has sought an answer from all the parties in this matter in three days. Then the next hearing will be a week later. Riya wanted to stop the ED’s inquiry by then, but it could not happen.
