The Tamil Nadu government has said that the anti-viral drug Remadisvir given to Covid-19 patients will now be given directly to private hospitals instead of the state administration.

Remedesivir drug will be given directly to private hospitals in Tamil Nadu from May 18. This facility will be provided to private hospitals from 18 May.

They have to register the medical needs in a portal to the private hospital.

Only one representative of those hospitals from the sales depot will be allowed to take these injections there. In this regard, complete information will be given on the portal.

Hospitals will have to keep a record of Remedicivir injection.

Hospitals will also have to keep a record of giving these injections to patients. Especially for those Kovid patients who are being given oxygen, they will be kept on a full account of injecting Remedesivir.

Chief Minister Stalin thanked Union Minister Piyush.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has thanked the Center by writing a letter to Union Industries Minister Piyush Goyal.

He has expressed gratitude for increasing the volume of Remedesivir injection daily from the current seven thousand to twenty thousand.

Corona-infected patients should not take remadecivir medication in isolation.

Corona outbreaks continue around the world after one and a half years. In such a situation, experts are constantly giving their advice and warnings about the medicines given for its prevention.

One such warning is now advised by Delhi-based AIIMS experts. These experts say that corona-infected patients who are in isolation at home should not take the medication used for its treatment

Experts say that even if their oxygen level falls below 94 in case of infection, they should not consume this medicine on their own but should be admitted to the hospital immediately.
