Reliance Emerged Stronger In Covid: RIL Q2 Results

Reliance emerged stronger in Covid, strong performance in these areas.

The results of Q2 of FY22 of Reliance Industries have also arrived. Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance’s Consolidated EBITDA grew by 30.0 percent (YoY) to a record Rs 30,283 crore.

Strong performances were in Oil & Gas, Digital Services, and Retail.

Earlier, the company’s net profit in Q1 results increased by 66.7 percent to Rs 13,806 crore.

RIL’s stock saw a better rise the day before the results of RIL came out in the stock market. There was a jump of about one and a half percent in this.

Also, during that time the company’s cash profit increased by 56.7 percent to Rs 21828 crore.

The company’s EPS had increased by 46.7 percent. At the same time, EBITDA increased by more than 27 percent to Rs 27550 crore.

• Consolidated EBITDA of Reliance Industries increased by 30.0 percent (YoY) to a record Rs 30,283 crore in Q2 FY2021-22. Strong performances were in Oil & Gas, Digital Services, and Retail.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance Industries emerged strongly from the Covid crisis. The annual EBITDA run-rate reached a record high of Rs 1.2 lakh crore.

• Record consolidated net profit of 46.0 percent (YoY) for Q2 FY2021-22 quarter stood at Rs 15,479 crore.

• Consolidated EPS for Q2 FY2021-22 quarter registered a growth of 40.7 percent (YoY) at Rs 20.9 per share.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance Industries Digital Services has registered a record EBITDA of Rs 9,561 crore. Which is 14.6 percent more than last year.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance Retail’s revenue reaches pre-Covid levels, with gross sales of Rs 45,426 crore in the quarter, an increase of 10.5 percent.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance Retail’s EBITDA stood at Rs 2,913 crore in the quarter, up 45.2 percent over the previous year, net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 1,695 crore, up 74.2 percent over the previous year.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Every Reliance Industries employee has received the first dose of Covid Vaccine in the year 2021-22, 96% of Reliance employees have received both the vaccines under “Mission Vaccine Suraksha”.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance is making good progress in its new energy business, with the recent announcements of partnerships and collaborations clearly showing that Reliance is committed to delivering on its promises.

• Quarterly consolidated net profit of Jio Platforms up 23.5 percent (YoY) at Rs 3,728 crore for Q2 FY2021-22.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Jio’s subscriber base reached 42.95 million by 30 September 2021. There was a net increase of 2 crores 38 lakhs in the subscriber count.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Jio added the highest number of subscribers in the last seven quarters, registering an overall growth of 35.6 million in the subscriber base.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Jio’s ARPU registered at Rs.143.6 per subscriber per month in the second quarter as against Rs.138.4 in the previous quarter.

Reliance emerged stronger in Covid: The business of Jio Fiber also saw good progress in this quarter.

• The total data consumption during the Q2 FY2021-22 quarter was 23.0 billion GB, an increase of 50.9 percent year-on-year. Voice traffic grew by 17.6% (YoY) to 1.09 trillion minutes.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance Jio and Google are working together to make JioPhone Next widely available during the festive season of Diwali.

Q2 FY2021-22 Jio Fiber continues to intensify efforts to reach out to customers every month, with over 40 lakh premises connected to Jio Fiber to date.

Reliance Jio’s optical fiber network is now present outside around 16 million premises.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Amid festive atmosphere and easing of COVID-related restrictions, Reliance Retail has registered strong growth in consumption.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance Retail’s EBIDTA grew by 45.2 percent (YoY) to Rs 2,913 crore. EBITDA margin rose 180 bps to 7.3%.

• Q2 FY2021-22 Reliance Retail opened 813 new stores during the quarter, taking the total number of stores to 13,635, spread over 37.33 million sq ft.

During this 86 godowns and fulfillment centers spread over 2.5 million square feet were also made operational.
