Registration Fee Will Be Refunded To All: Shri Amarnath Yatra
Registration fee will be refunded to all: Amarnath Yatra 2021. The fee will be refunded to the devotees who register for Shri Amarnath Yatra.
The registration fee will be refunded to all the devotees who register for the annual pilgrimage to the holy cave of Shri Amarnath-2021.
If the pilgrims wish, instead of withdrawing the registration fee, they can get their travel permits valid for the year 2022 pilgrimage.
However, the travel permit is not yet valid, only after the registration process starts next year. This year Shri Amarnath pilgrimage was to be held from 28 June to 22 July.
For this, Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) had started the process of registration of devotees on 1st April 2021 in about 446 branches of JK Bank, PNB, and Yes Bank.
Later these devotees were confirmed to be corona infected.
The closure was in view of the growing outbreak of the second wave. Later the pilgrimage was also canceled and only the chadi Mubarak reached the Shri Amareshwar cave to perform the rituals.
Shrine Board spokesperson said that the pilgrims who had registered for the pilgrimage through the bank can withdraw their registration fee by visiting the respective bank branch from Oct 1 to Oct 31.
For this, they will also have to submit an application along with the original copy of the travel permit issued by the bank branch.
Each passenger will get his own registration fee, no passenger will be able to take back the registration fee of any other passenger or any of his close registered companions.
The spokesperson said that the Board has also kept the option of validating the Yatra Permit for the pilgrimage 2022 open to the pilgrims registered for the Yatra 2021.
If a registered devotee does not want to withdraw his registration fee and is willing to join the pilgrimage next year, he should retain his existing Yatra Permit.
As soon as the process of registration starts next year, he can get the Yatra Permit issued this year valid by visiting the concerned bank branch and get permission for the pilgrimage.
The spokesperson said that due to Corona, the board had also arranged for a live telecast of morning and evening aarti of Lord Shiva and mother Parvati sitting in the holy cave.
Apart from this, arrangements were also made for virtual puja, havan, and online prasad distribution for the devotees.
About 80 lakh devotees have seen the virtual darshan of Baba Barfani, who is seated in the holy cave, on the Shri Amarnath Ji channel on JIO TV.
