Brought up in the south Indian waterfront town of Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, his complete name was Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam.
His enthusiasm for finding out about material science and advanced plane design helped in molding his profession as a researcher and science chairman at the Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
Famously known as the Missile Man of India, for his commitment towards creating ballistic missiles and dispatch vehicle innovation, Kalam was picked as the President of India in 2002 by the then-administering Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and upheld by opposition Indian National Congress (INC).
In the wake of accepting release from his obligations as the President of India, Kalam returned to his enthusiasm. It was during conveying a talk at the Indian Foundation of The board in Shillong when he fell and died from obvious heart failure.
