Ram Temple: Govind Bhai Dholakia Of Gujarat Donated Rs 11 Crore

Ram Temple: Diamond businessman of Gujarat donated Rs 11 crore for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. The construction work of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has begun in Ayodhya.

Diamond businessman Govind Bhai Dholakia has donated Rs 11 crore to build the temple. In Gujarat, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) have started a campaign to collect donations for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Govind Bhai Dholakia, a diamond merchant from Surat and owner of Ramakrishna Diamond, has donated 11 crores for his faith in Lord Shri Ram and Sanatan Hinduism.

Govind Bhai has been associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for the past several years and he also joined the car service in 192. Govind Bhai Dholakia is a diamond merchant and originally from Saurashtra Gujarat.

Apart from Govind Bhai Dholakia, businessman Mahesh Pigeon Wala from Surat has donated five crores. Pigeon Wala is a well-known face in the field of Chemical Industries in India.

Apart from him, a well-known industrialist and social activist of Surat, Loveji Badshah, has also given one crore rupees for the construction of Ram temple.

There are many more entrepreneurs and businessmen in Surat who have donated five to 2100000 rupees for the construction of the Ram temple.

Former MP and Bharatiya Janata Party Gujarat treasurer Surendra Bhai Patel and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state vice-president and former minister Gordhan Jhadap Piya have also donated five lakhs for the construction of the Ram temple.

BJP state vice-president and former minister Govardhan Zadaphia say that Govind Bhai is a resident of Dudhla village in Lathi tehsil of Amreli district.

He comes from a farming family and before 1970 he went to Surat and started working as a diamond artisan.

After working as a diamond worker in a diamond factory for five years, he started taking some work. Used to make diamond polis and help industrialists in the sale of diamond rough.

A few years later he, along with some of his friends, started a diamond business under the name Ramakrishna Diamond and never looked back.

In his village and Amreli district too, Govind Bhai helps in education, health, and religious programs and he also runs a charitable trust. Govind Bhai is a non-political figure, but his ideological association with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh dates back many years.
